Pronoun and its Types

Pronoun is the word which is used in place of a noun.
Pronoun Example: I, we, he, she, it, they, you, this, which, my, yourself, mine etc. 

Types of Pronouns

2- Reflexive Pronouns
3- Interrogative Pronouns
4- Relative Pronouns
5- Demonstrative Pronouns
6- Possessive Pronouns

1- Personal Pronouns

Personal pronouns are used in place of the  name of a specific person.

2- Reflexive Pronouns

These are the pronouns which show the effect of the subject on itself

For example: myself, yourself, ourselves, themselves, itself, himself, herself

Sentences:
She herself opened the door
I myself served my guests

3- Interrogative Pronouns

These pronouns ask questions about the things which we do not know

For example: who, which, whom, what

Sentences:
What is your name?
Who is knocking at the door?

4- Relative Pronouns

These are the pronouns which join independent and subordinate clauses.

For example: which, who, that, whom, whose

Sentences:
Whose letter is this?
He is the boy whom I met yesterday.

5- Demonstrative Pronouns 

These are the pronouns which refer to a thing or things.

For example: this, that, those, these

Sentences:
This is my car.
Those are their chairs.

6- Possessive Pronouns

These Pronouns show the possession of a noun.

For example: mine, yours, ours, its, theirs, his, hers

Sentences:
This book is mine.
Is this pen yours?
